Position Overview

The role of the Transitional Support Facilitator is to ensure a secure and nurturing atmosphere within a short-term residential environment that is inclusive and accessible to at-risk populations. This position is vital in promoting the overall welfare of individuals who are either residing at or utilizing the services of the STC White Buffalo Youth Lodge (WBYL) Saweyihtotan Transitional House.

The Facilitator will engage with street-involved and vulnerable individuals who may lack stable housing and/or may be engaged in various high-risk activities. Under the direct oversight of the Project Coordinator or their appointed representative, the Facilitator will adhere to the Saskatoon Tribal Council's Personnel and Financial Policies, the White Buffalo Youth Lodge's Emergency Protocols, and the established guidelines for the STC WBYL Transitional House and Emergency Youth Shelter.
