Job Description

Job Title: Validation Engineer Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Validation Engineer Associate to join our team at Onward Technologies Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing verification and validation of automotive systems to meet federally regulated guidelines for software performance, safety requirements, manufacturability, and vehicle functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform verification and validation of automotive systems to meet federally regulated guidelines
  • Develop and maintain test procedures, including traceability of test artifacts to requirements
  • Conduct root cause analysis activities and document test results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test properties functionality
  • Document issues in the Portal and GIMs system and provide DVP&R results and open issues found

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 0-3 years of automotive test/validation work experience
  • Experience with Vector CANalyzer and/or CANoe, CDA, and excellent communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to travel domestically 20% and cross the border

Additional Information:

  • Plywood buck test engineer
  • Test vehicle function requirements are met for signal and communication for ICE and EVs
  • The modules and network management are performing properly (identify faults)
