What You'll Do

As a Building Science Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating the condition of existing building envelopes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing effective solutions.
  • Designing and preparing construction documents for building envelope assemblies in restoration projects.
  • Conducting site visits, witness testing, and reviewing mock-ups to ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Collaborating with clients, architects, and contractors to deliver successful projects on time and within budget.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree or diploma in Architecture or Engineering, or a bachelor's degree in an architectural science program.
  • Previous experience in a construction environment, such as project management, labor, trade, or design.
  • The ability to work safely at heights and use tools to access elevated building elements.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Alberta.
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
