About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at Barrier Marine Services (Canada) Limited. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading our engineering team and overseeing the development of engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Assign engineering projects to engineers or other technical workers, consult with clients to determine project needs, and coordinate work activities to ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide detailed information and guidance to clients on project analysis and design, review engineering projects to approve or recommend changes, and authorize the development of specifications for products or services.
  • Leadership: Oversee the analysis of data and information, oversee the preparation of reports, and advise senior management on technical matters.
  • Team Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, and lead/instruct groups of engineers and technical workers.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, organized, and a team player.
