Chief Financial Officer for Grid Technology Division

Seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance team in our Grid Technology division, enabling a reliable, sustainable, and digital grid. The power grid is the backbone of the energy transition.

About the Role

This critical position oversees financial steering and control of all commercial activities in our Trois-Rivières plant, manufacturing distribution transformers for the North American electrical grid. As CFO, you will maximize performance, especially profitability, while ensuring compliance with global objectives and partnering with the General Manager of the facility.

This 16-month contract position requires a strong financial leader with experience in strategic planning, process optimization, and team management. You will oversee budget calculation, financial forecast, and reporting of business results, as well as manage inventory measures, offer and bid calculations, and contract structuring.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Oversee budget preparation, financial forecasting, and reporting of business results.
  • Manage inventory measures, including asset and liability assessments.
  • Lead offer and bid calculations, ensuring commercial correctness.
  • Coordinate contract structuring, including analysis, clarification, deviation, tax analysis, risk evaluation, and insurance concepts.
  • Set target costing to improve product competitiveness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (CPA preferred) and 8+ years' relevant experience.
  • Experience in Transmission/Distribution Business or similar industries in the energy sector.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong presentation skills, and teamwork.
  • Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken, and proficiency in SAP and MS Office.
