Job Title: Senior Principal, Cloud Platform Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned cloud expert to lead our cloud infrastructure strategy and architecture. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will work closely with development and architecture teams to ensure our cloud solutions meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive cloud strategies for large organizations
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions
  • Collaborate with development and architecture teams to ensure cloud solutions meet quality and reliability standards
  • Serve as a key advisor to senior management on cloud technologies and trends
  • Drive the adoption of advanced cloud solutions, including AI and machine learning capabilities
  • Oversee complex migrations of critical business applications to cloud environments
  • Establish and enforce cloud governance frameworks to manage risk and ensure data integrity and security
  • Lead the evaluation and selection of cloud technologies and tools
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and mentor senior engineers and leadership in best practices for cloud architecture and management
Requirements:
  • At least 10+ years of experience in cloud computing, including significant experience in a leadership or advisory role
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing comprehensive cloud strategies for large organizations
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale cloud migration and transformation projects
  • Extensive experience with cloud security frameworks, regulatory compliance, and risk management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical challenges into strategic solutions
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to mentor senior technical teams and influence executive stakeholders
