Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SUBWAY SANDWICHES. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 3-4 food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business improvement.
  • Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and minimizing overtime.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
