About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores Coordinator to join our team at the Vancouver Branch. This position reports to the Inventory Manager and requires an independent and reliable individual to perform various responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick, pack, and put away inventory in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process packing lists and receipt purchases into Dynamics, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Purchase inventory materials from approved vendors and partners, negotiating prices and terms as needed.
  • Reconcile invoices against purchase orders and forward to Corporate for payment, maintaining a high level of financial accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and productivity standards.
  • Source out requests from departments, working closely with various teams to meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Safety, Service, Roofing, and Manufacturing to ensure seamless operations.
  • Create and submit New Vendor request forms to Accounts Payable as required.
  • Maintain open communication with direct reporting management, providing regular updates and insights.
Requirements
  • Experience in a purchasing role, preferably in the construction and/or manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of warehousing and cyclic inventory management principles.
  • Strong analytical thinking, planning, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer literacy and MS Excel experience is an asset.
