Job Title: Clinical Services Manager

BC Cancer is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Services Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical and operational leadership, management expertise, and strategic direction to our clinical services department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic priorities and operational plans to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership and direction to team members, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Manage and supervise staff, including budget development and oversight.
  • Collaborate with regional and provincial colleagues to support patient-focused and integrated care.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing or a healthcare-related field, plus a minimum of 7-10 years of recent related clinical experience, including 2 years in a managerial/leadership capacity.
  • Current registration/membership with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) or an appropriate recognized professional association.
  • Proven leadership ability, with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to relate easily to a variety of people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong skills in operations management, including budget development and oversight.
  • Ability to develop and foster a culture of education and research aimed at improving care delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada.
