Marshall Canada is seeking a skilled General Labourer to join our team in Moncton, NB. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for providing general support to various departments on an as-needed basis.
Key Responsibilities- Operate electric powered mobile equipment, such as sanders and grinders, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assist with the movement of materials and equipment around the facility using hand carts, lift trucks, and other machinery.
- Perform tasks that require working from heights and in enclosed areas, while adhering to all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Use dust and respirator half masks, and maintain a clean-shaven face to ensure proper fit testing.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and contribute to the development of high-quality workmanship.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety, and Environment issues.
- Able to work in safety-sensitive environments, including working with power tools and driving equipment.
- Ability to stand, climb, crawl, reach, lift, and carry objects with and without assistive devices.
- Commitment to high-quality workmanship and ability to work well within a team.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with other stakeholders.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles, including 5S, Kanban, and SMED.
