As an Audit Specialist - Interline Agreements at CP, you will be responsible for conducting audits on CPKC Interline agreements, focusing on data accuracy, rate adjustments, compliance, operational value, and root cause analysis. You will generate detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations, and serve as the go-to agreement expert for critical Interline projects. You will also drive continuous improvement by engaging stakeholders to enhance efficiencies and process improvements, and lead cross-functional teams towards high-standard analysis and recommendations. Additionally, you will implement and execute business opportunities related to Interline agreements by collaborating with departments like Commercial, Operations, Strategy, and others to advance CPKC-friendly changes.

Position Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a university degree (or equivalent experience) in accounting, finance, business, or a related field, and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. Railroad knowledge, particularly in operations, commercial, or legal domains, is an asset. You will also require application expertise in SAP, Business Objects, BPC, Windows, and Microsoft Office with intermediate to advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to quickly grasp and apply new concepts, and work independently with minimal supervision are essential. Excellent communication, strong interpersonal skills for vendor management, and the ability to prioritize under continuous deadlines are also required.
