Job Title: Personal Support Worker - Nursing Care

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Tri-Community HR Ops. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to patients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Job Summary:
  • Provide personal care and support to patients in their homes, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to healthcare professionals.
  • Assist with mobility and transfer patients as needed.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Or equivalent experience.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Own transportation.
Work Environment:

As a Personal Support Worker, you will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care and support to patients in their homes. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, communicating effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.
