This position is part of the centralized Rehabilitation and Allied Health Program, supporting adult patients in critical care, specifically within general systems ICU and Firefighter Burns Treatment Unit.
We offer excellent learning opportunities through professional practice lead events, ongoing professional growth, quality improvement, and mentorship from experienced professionals on site.
Key Responsibilities- Provide therapeutic interventions to enable clients to achieve optimum physical function and independence.
- Collaborate with patient(s) and families to determine, implement, and evaluate appropriate rehabilitation strategies.
- Participate in interprofessional teams to build awareness, enrich supports, and engage in quality improvement.
- Contribute to quality improvement and professional community, participating in peer mentoring and supervising students.
- Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program.
- Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
- Recent acute care experience in critical care, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and ability to work a weekend rotation.
This role offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
