Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ten Sushi. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that inventory levels are maintained.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and culinary genres.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
