Job Summary

The University of Ottawa is seeking a highly qualified Professor of French as a Second Language to join our team. As a Professor, you will be responsible for teaching French language courses to students at the University of Ottawa.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement curriculum for French language courses
  • Teach French language courses to students at the University of Ottawa
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in the field of French language education

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Education or a related field
  • Qualification as a specialist in the field of French as a Second Language
  • Recent experience in teaching French language courses at a university or college
  • Experience in implementing the Ontario curriculum in French as a Second Language
  • Confirmation of current qualification in French as a Second Language

Preferred Qualifications

  • Leadership experience in a school setting
  • Ability to apply the Ontario College of Teachers' Professional Standards and Code of Ethics
