Job Title: Heavy Construction Equipment Operator

Border Paving Ltd. is seeking a skilled Heavy Construction Equipment Operator to join their team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Heavy Construction Equipment Operator to operate various heavy equipment, including asphalt pavers, graders, and screeds. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safety protocols and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment, including asphalt pavers, graders, and screeds
  • Clean and maintain equipment, including lubrication and refilling tanks
  • Utilize material safety data sheets (MSDS) and complete onboard logs
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and participate in accident reports
  • Secure special attachments to equipment and operate two-way radios
  • Perform minor repairs to equipment and monitor safety conditions
Requirements
  • 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent training
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with attention to detail
  • Language: English
  • Education: No education is required
