Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at 1335601 BC LTD. As a key member of our residential construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers, labourers, and other personnel on site.
  • Prepare and submit reports on project progress, including production and other relevant metrics.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to ensure efficient use of resources and meet project deadlines.
  • Train and develop the skills of construction workers and labourers to improve their performance and productivity.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects, and ensure that these are procured in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Set up and maintain equipment and tools on site, and ensure that they are in good working order.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed on site, and that workers are aware of and comply with these regulations.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures, as necessary.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and deadlines, and ensure that these are communicated to all relevant personnel.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents to ensure that construction work is carried out in accordance with plans and specifications.
  • Requisition materials and supplies as needed, and ensure that these are delivered to site in a timely manner.

  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
