Key Responsibilities- Conduct Quality Inspections: Perform thorough inspections to ensure compliance with product specifications and industry standards.
- Visual Inspection of Mechanical and Electrical Work: Conduct visual inspections of mechanical and electrical work to identify any defects or non-conformities.
- Document Inspection Results: Document inspection results and non-conformities in a clear and concise manner.
- Analyze Defects and Propose Solutions: Analyze the causes of defects and propose solutions to prevent future occurrences.
- Verify Component Conformity: Verify the conformity of sub-assemblies to contractual and internal requirements.
- Record Inspection Results: Record inspection results in digital industrial systems.
- Ensure Quality Documentation: Ensure that quality documentation is up-to-date and accurate for all components and assemblies.
- Participate in Joint Inspections: Participate in joint inspections with clients to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Verify Equipment Calibration: Verify that equipment and instruments used during inspections are properly calibrated.
- Conduct Post-Audit Inspections: Conduct post-audit inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field.
- Experience: More than 4 years of experience in quality inspection in the manufacturing sector.
- Skills: Ability to read drawings and specifications, and familiarity with various testing equipment.
- Additional Requirements: Experience in the railway sector is an asset.
- Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in English and French, both written and verbal.
- Other Requirements: Rigor and good communication skills.
- Desirable Qualifications: Knowledge of quality standards (ISO9001, IRIS, CMMI, etc.) and quality tools.
