Job Title: Mitigation Technician

We are seeking an experienced Mitigation Technician to join our team at ServiceMaster Restore. As a key member of our disaster restoration team, you will be responsible for mitigating losses and restoring affected properties to their pre-loss condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond quickly to emergencies such as water, fire, and smoke damage.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of mitigation project sites to ensure quality controls are met.
  • Operate and maintain company equipment, including drying equipment and vehicles.
  • Prepare contents for inspection by insureds and adjusters.
  • Ensure all mitigation and drying equipment is being utilized to full potential.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class G Ontario Driver's license with no restrictions.
  • Able to operate a company-owned vehicle.
  • Willing to take part in on-call rotating schedule.
  • Able to work after hours and on holidays when necessary.
  • Willing to submit personal information for a criminal background check.
Physical Requirements:

This position requires a high level of physical exertion and moderate intensity of sensory effort.

Working Conditions:

There is a possible risk of exposure to adverse working conditions, including mold, asbestos, sewage, trauma, and confined spaces.

Benefits:

  • Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place.
