About Looma Remote Community School
Looma Remote Community School is a school located in the Kimberley region of Western Australia, approximately 130 km southeast of Derby. The school services the Looma Aboriginal Community and the town of Camballin. The school has a strong focus on ensuring the voice of Aboriginal parents is reflected in the actions, strategic directions of the parents and community members through a school community partnership.
Key Requirements
The successful applicant will have:
- Proven experience in leading educational programs and managing education practices.
- Strong knowledge of cultural responsiveness and inclusivity.
- Ability to work in a remote setting and understand the educational and social challenges of a remote community.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
