Job Description

As a key member of the MAPEI Inc. team, the Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities. This position is responsible for supporting the shipping and receiving department, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Plan daily incoming and outgoing trucks, utilizing all available hours to optimize loading and unloading times;
  • Act as a liaison between Customer Service and the Purchasing Department, receiving and filing all purchase orders;
  • Inspect and verify the accuracy of incoming merchandise against invoices and documents;
  • Match Bills of Lading with Purchase Orders for received products and materials;
  • Maintain an internal record-keeping system to track inventory and discrepancies;
  • Record non-conformities and shortages, as well as reject damaged goods;
  • Monitor product returns from start to finish, ensuring timely handling and resolution;
  • Ensure the shipping office and surrounding area remain organized, clean, and safe;
  • Meet hygiene, safety, and sanitary standards, complying with government regulations;
  • Report hazards to the Production and Warehouse Manager;
  • Verify scale weight tickets for incoming and outgoing vehicles;
  • Confirm accurate paperwork attached to orders and weight checks;
  • Keep attendance records up-to-date.
