The YMCA of Northern Alberta is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Child-Minding Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our preschool program, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and supervision to our young members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive programs that promote learning and development in children.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all members, adhering to YMCA standards and policies.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff to ensure seamless program delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with children is an asset.
  • Certifications: Standard First Aid & CPR-C.
  • Able to obtain a Police Information Check and Vulnerable sector check.
