About the Role

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing educational programs that promote the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of children from infancy to preschool age.

You will work collaboratively with our experienced team of educators to design and deliver engaging activities that stimulate learning and exploration. This may include preparing materials, setting up learning stations, and facilitating group discussions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathing, diapering, and feeding infants and toddlers
  • Telling stories and engaging children in interactive activities
  • Preparing snacks and arranging rooms or furniture for meals and rest periods
  • Submitting written observations on children's progress to supervisors
  • Attending staff meetings to discuss child development and share best practices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a childcare setting
  • An understanding of child development principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
