Job Overview

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is between $55,000 and $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

As a Veterinary Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to animals undergoing treatment and surgery. Your duties will include:

  • Collecting samples and performing laboratory tests
  • Handling, restraining, and caring for animals in a safe and humane manner
  • Producing diagnostic radiographs
  • Assisting veterinarians before, during, and after surgery
  • Administering treatments as prescribed by veterinarians
  • Performing various office management and clerical tasks
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • College education or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience as a registered veterinary technician
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
