Job Title: Dispatcher for Intermodal Division

Industry: Transport

Location: Boucherville

We are seeking a Dispatcher with experience in the intramodal business who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating container shipments and ensuring seamless logistics operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with drivers to advise on next pick-ups and deliveries
  • Work closely with drivers to resolve any issues that may arise
  • Update shipment status in the dispatch system
  • Determine the most efficient routes and order of pick-ups and deliveries
  • Collaborate with fellow dispatchers to coordinate daily activities
  • Inform Customer Service Representatives of any issues for direct communication with clients
  • Verify order status
  • Maintain relationships with clientele
Qualifications:
  • Fluency in French and English is mandatory
  • At least one year's experience in the trucking industry, preferably with intermodal knowledge
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Minimum high school diploma
  • Strong geographical knowledge of Quebec
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
