Job Summary

PepsiCo is seeking a skilled Electromechanic Technician to join its dynamic team. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the factory's equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance tasks
  • Respond to repair and maintenance requests from operations
  • Perform technical modifications to equipment as specified
  • Adapt preventive maintenance schedules for designated equipment
  • Ensure personal and colleague safety
  • Perform other tasks related to the role
Requirements
  • Diploma in Electromechanics or Electrical Engineering, or DEC or AEC in Electromechanics and/or Instrumentation and Control, and/or Instrumentation, Automation, and Robotics
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role (asset)
  • Strong knowledge of programmable automation and general knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics
  • Ability to weld and willingness to use computer technology
  • Good physical condition (lifting 30-50 lbs)
  • Responsible, autonomous, and able to establish repair priorities
Work Schedule and Location
  • Hourly wage: $32.97 + Night Shift Premium ($1.15/hour) and Add-on Premium ($1.00/hour) for weekend hours
  • Work schedule: 1 week of 3 nights and 1 week of 5 nights (10-hour shift); (Sunday to Tuesday and Friday and Saturday one week in two) or (Tuesday to Thursday and Friday and Saturday one week in two)
  • Regular full-time position: 40 hours/week + Opportunity to work overtime
