We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for carrying out assigned functional accounting and maintaining the integrity of information within the accounting subsystem in Accounts Payable.
The successful candidate will respond to and serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, ensuring that all interactions are professional and courteous. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the principles and practices that guide Nova Scotia Health Authority, such as our vision, mission, values, strategic directions, ethics, safety, quality, partnerships, and interprofessional collaboration, are integrated within the support that is provided by the work that you do and through the messages you deliver.
About YouWe are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a strong background in accounting and experience in a computerized SAP Accounts Payable environment. The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in a recognized post-secondary business program with an emphasis in Accounting and a minimum of three years of recent and related experience in a similar role.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also have a strong understanding of accounting software and be willing to learn new programs.

Hours and CompensationThis is a permanent, full-time position with a salary range of $28.24 - $31.15 per hour. The successful candidate may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
