Job Title: Accounting Bookkeeper

Kent & Duffett is seeking an experienced Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team. As an Accounting Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
  • Skills: MS Excel, MS Word, Sage Accounting Software, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Work Schedule:

35 to 45 hours per week.
