Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Work Educator to join our team at PHSA. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing educational strategies, programs, and curriculum for Social Work staff. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring that our staff have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement educational strategies, programs, and curriculum for Social Work staff
• Provide training to Social Work staff and students on profession-specific and inter-professional clinical practice guidelines
• Deliver new staff orientation for social workers and social work students
• Develop and review instructional materials

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited School of Social Work
• Four years' recent, related broad Social Work experience
• Current full registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of organization policies, legislation, procedures, and standards of care
• Comprehensive knowledge of social work theory and practice within a client and family-centred model of care
• Demonstrated ability to promote Indigenous Cultural Safety and Humility
