Job Summary

As a Support Worker at the FSJACL, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with various tasks, including personal hygiene, dressing, life skills such as meal preparation and house cleaning, medication administration, and accessing the community to attend events or appointments.

The ideal candidate is caring, supportive, and makes individuals feel independent and involved in their community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation
  • Support individuals with life skills, such as house cleaning and medication administration
  • Accompany individuals to community events and appointments
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to provide quality support services
Requirements
  • Able to work shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid Canadian driver's license
  • Vulnerable sector criminal record clearance
  • Clear Tuberculosis screening
  • Must be 19 years of age or older
