Job Description

BMO Financial Group is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead complex projects and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct large-scale, complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and matrix partners.
  • Define, plan, and deliver strategic projects, including business, operational, and IT deliverables.
  • Manage project lifecycle, working with business, corporate, and IT partners to oversee all phases and ensure related processes are completed.
  • Build and sustain relationships with stakeholders at various levels, including executive level.
  • Ensure end results meet high standards with clear scope and quantifiable business benefit.
  • Chair core team and governance forums to review progress with key constituents.
  • Represent project interests in various governance and inter-department forums.
  • Rigorously manage scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters.
  • Develop and track project milestones, maintaining an integrated delivery plan.
  • Develop project artifacts, including charter, integrated plan, resource plan, and contingency plan, while complying with enterprise standards.
  • Monitor and control project progress, proposing recommendations and adjustments to the Accountable Executive.
  • Manage vendors and suppliers, leading requirements design, programming, and testing.
  • Contribute to improving project management best practices within the Enterprise.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in IT Project Management.
  • 10 years of experience in Waterfall Methodology.
  • 10 years of experience in Technology/Software/Application Projects.
  • Desirable: 10 years of experience in Banking/Financial Industry and Infrastructure and/or Cloud.
  • Undergraduate Degree in a Related Field.
