Experienced Finish Carpenter Wanted for Dream House Kitchens

We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team at Dream House Kitchens & Interiors. As a Finish Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our projects, from preparing layouts to installing fixtures and hardware.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in various settings
Requirements:
  • Carpenter Trade Certification
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
