Job Title: Stucco Plasterer Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Stucco Plasterer Specialist to join our team at Elite Home Stucco Ltd. The ideal candidate will have experience in applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster, as well as mixing plaster ingredients to the desired consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to create a smooth and even surface.
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency to ensure a strong and durable finish.
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for plastering, including removing old plaster and debris.
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces to ensure a strong bond.
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required.
  • Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim.
  • Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings.
  • Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces.

Work Environment: The successful candidate will work in various locations, including construction sites and warehouses. The work environment will be physically demanding, requiring the ability to bend, crouch, kneel, and handle heavy loads.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in stucco plastering and finishing.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Reliability, flexibility, and a client-focused attitude.

Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: The successful candidate will be required to work in a physically demanding environment, with regular exposure to dust, noise, and extreme temperatures. The ability to handle heavy loads, bend, crouch, kneel, and stand for extended periods is essential.

Weight Handling: The successful candidate will be required to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
