Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Stucco Plasterer Specialist to join our team at Blue Rock Construction Ltd. The ideal candidate will have experience in applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster, as well as fabricating and installing suspended metal ceiling grids.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to create a smooth and even surface.
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required.
  • Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim.
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow the coat to dry.
  • Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces.
  • Cut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts, and electrical outlets.
  • Install corner beads and wire mesh around beams to which plaster is to be applied.
  • Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools.
  • Estimate costs and materials.
