About the Role

Societe Generale is seeking a skilled Credit Analyst to join our Global Banking and Advisory team. As a Credit Analyst, you will play a critical role in assessing the creditworthiness of corporate counterparties and recommending appropriate credit limits, terms, and conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare high-quality credit applications and annual reviews of corporate counterparties, analyzing financial statements, industry dynamics, and competitive environments.
  2. Develop financial projections and determine debt repayment capability, ensuring compliance with Societe Generale's credit policies.
  3. Propose and update Obligor Risk Ratings, monitoring compliance with covenants and reviewing relevant legal documentation.
  4. Liaise with cross-functional teams, including business lines, bankers, legal, compliance, operations, and risk departments.
Requirements
  1. 4+ years of experience as a credit analyst in a corporate and investment banking entity or related field.
  2. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  3. Excellent financial analytical skills, with ability to assess credit terms and conditions.
  4. Strong understanding of commercial and investment banking products, as well as accounting, legal, and regulatory issues.
  5. Ability to work in a team, with excellent communication and writing skills.
