At EngineeringUK, we're passionate about empowering our teams to drive innovation and entrepreneurship. Our Enterprise Risk - Technology Risk team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead our risk management efforts.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Senior Manager to join our team as a trusted advisor, identifying and addressing enterprise issues, evaluating IT controls, and optimizing system design to mitigate client risk. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for leading planning and delivery of enterprise risk consulting engagements, including risk assessments, internal audits, and performance improvement initiatives.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Enterprise Risk Consulting Engagements: Plan and deliver high-quality risk consulting engagements, ensuring timely completion and exceeding client expectations.
  • Oversee Practice Management: Ensure effective quality management, timely billing, and work-in-progress management across the practice.
  • Provide Industry Expertise: Offer technical expertise through client interactions, research, analysis, and reports, while maintaining high-quality control and anticipating key risks.
  • Support Sales Processes: Participate in proposal writing, sales meetings, and development of work plans, effort estimates, and quotes.
  • Network and Business Development: Network with local business leaders, identify opportunities, and prepare competitive proposals to meet client needs.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor, motivate, and coach junior team members, providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and setting clear expectations.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 8+ Years of Experience: Relevant work experience in risk management, internal audit, or accounting/finance.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven people management, relationship building, and leadership skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication ability, effective problem-solving abilities, and time management skills.
  • Certifications and Clearances: Valid security clearance for the Canadian federal government or ability to obtain.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
