As a key member of the Grand River Personnel Limited team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth and success of our clients in Waterloo Region. We are seeking a highly skilled Product Estimator with exceptional customer service skills to join our team in a full-time permanent role.

About the Role

The Product Estimator/CSR is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers by acting as the primary liaison between customers and internal departments. This dynamic role encompasses estimating, sales, and product management functions, and involves managing the full project cycle from RFQ through to delivery and post-delivery support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer interactions via phone and email, ensuring timely responses to meet customer expectations.
  • Oversee order tracking, discrepancy resolution, collections, freight coordination, and expediting to ensure smooth processing and customer satisfaction.
  • Submit cost estimates and quotes, review POs for accuracy, and manage the order process (tracking, discrepancy resolution, collections, and expediting).
  • Develop quotes for non-standard items and provide support for one-off projects and new product development.
  • Provide technical drawing interpretation and Microsoft Office proficiency, with a focus on Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and OneNote.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in estimating, sales, and product management.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with structural steel and experience in project management is an asset.
What We Offer
