At Cedars Bakery, we are seeking a skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting, with experience in maintaining financial records and establishing, maintaining, and balancing various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, maintaining general ledgers and financial statements, and preparing other statistical, financial, and accounting reports. Additionally, the Bookkeeping Specialist will be responsible for reconciling accounts and preparing a trial balance of books. If you have a strong understanding of accounting principles and are proficient in bookkeeping software, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. The work schedule will be 30 hours per week, and the language of work will be English. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for bookkeeping, we want to hear from you.
