About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at 5902 Nunavut Ltd. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units, as well as clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Food Preparation: Load buspans and trays, operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and place dishes in storage areas.
  • Customer Service: Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, serve customers at counters or buffet tables, and take customers' orders.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • General Maintenance: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, and handle and store cleaning products.
Work Environment

As a Food Counter Attendant at 5902 Nunavut Ltd, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads.

Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
