Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Monitor residents' health status and report any changes to the nursing team.
- Educate residents and their families on health management and wellness.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to enhance resident care.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and BC health regulations.
Requirements
- Valid LPN license in British Columbia (BCCN&M Registration)
- Current CPR / First Aide Certification
- Previous experience in long-term care or a related field preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
