Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing one or more multidisciplinary teams consisting of developers, software architects, and product owners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Structure, build, and lead a highly effective team. Mentor, inspire, train, and hold the team accountable for delivering results, spreading best practices, and enhancing their skills and impact.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of work and the individual performance of team members within their squads.
  • Architecture and Design: Participate in SaaS architecture and ensure the proper use of various tools in place.
  • Recruitment and Talent Management: Conduct annual performance evaluations and develop improvement or development plans as needed. Recruit new talent and establish service agreements with potential partners.
  • Project Management: Closely monitor project progress with the team and communicate updates to management.
  • Process Improvement: Propose improvements to current processes and assist in implementing solutions. Suggest and implement tools to enhance squad efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Support ongoing training plans for team members in terms of technical skills acquisition.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 10 years or more of experience in software development, 3 years or more of experience in team management as a manager or team lead.
  • Skills: Experience in software architecture, proven delivery of at least one SaaS product, bilingual in French and English (oral and written), experience in object-oriented programming, experience in server application and/or microservices development using languages and frameworks such as C#, Python, Java, or JavaScript, etc.
