Job Overview

The Credit Financing Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting our company's efforts in analyzing financing files. This includes evaluating credit applications, gathering necessary information from customer files, and communicating the terms and conditions of financing offered by Alterfina.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Evaluate creditworthiness, account holder status, and bank statements as part of the financing application analysis.
  • Verify the completeness of funding applications by checking for missing documents or information.
  • Utilize specialized software to authenticate customer-provided information.
  • Gather required information by communicating with customers via phone and email.
  • Enter data into the balance sheet for accurate record-keeping.
  • Making informed decisions on demand.
  • Follow up on pending customer files to ensure timely resolution.
  • Document all interactions and notes for future reference and colleague assistance.
  • Ensure applications are complete and compliant before submission.
  • Promote exceptional customer service throughout the application process.
  • Encourage customers to continue their application when facing cancellation by negotiating terms or offering solutions.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by supervisors or related to the position.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Credential: Diploma of Collegial Studies.
  • Experience: At least one year in a similar role, preferably in an SME environment.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Recognized for productivity, resourcefulness, and organizational skills.
  • A keen sense of analysis and verification.
  • Positive attitude and ideas for improvement.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
  • Sense of customer service and ability to establish trust with clients.
  • Effective negotiation skills.
  • Traits of a team player.
  • Readiness to go above and beyond for the team's needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant technologies.
  • Bilingualism (spoken and written).

Salary Estimate: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
