Job SummaryWe are seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to join our team in Mount Forest, ON. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
Responsibilities- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of residents' needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Order, administer, and store medications and treatments in compliance with facility policies and standards.
- Provide direct patient care, including performing various nursing tasks and procedures.
- Practice under the College of Nurses standards and follow facility policies and procedures.
- Registered Practical Nurse Diploma from an accredited institution.
- BLS/ACLS & eCTAS Certification an asset.
- Seniors' home, long-term care, and/or hospital experience an asset.
- Active Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Availability to work shifts: days, evenings, nights, and weekends as required.
- Proficient technical skills, including MS Word and email.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Effective problem-solving and conflict management skills.
- Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella (MMRV).
- Proof of negative TB skin test within the past one (1) year or negative chest x-ray within the past five (5) years.
- Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certification.
We offer a competitive rate of $32 per hour and a supportive work environment.
