Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to join our team in Mount Forest, ON. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of residents' needs and develop individualized care plans.
  2. Order, administer, and store medications and treatments in compliance with facility policies and standards.
  3. Provide direct patient care, including performing various nursing tasks and procedures.
  4. Practice under the College of Nurses standards and follow facility policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Registered Practical Nurse Diploma from an accredited institution.
  • BLS/ACLS & eCTAS Certification an asset.
  • Seniors' home, long-term care, and/or hospital experience an asset.
  • Active Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Availability to work shifts: days, evenings, nights, and weekends as required.
  • Proficient technical skills, including MS Word and email.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict management skills.
  • Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella (MMRV).
  • Proof of negative TB skin test within the past one (1) year or negative chest x-ray within the past five (5) years.
  • Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certification.
