At The Toronto-Dominion Bank, we are seeking a skilled Corporate Risk Analyst to join our team in the Enterprise Capital Management (ECM) department within Treasury and Balance Sheet Management (TBSM).

Estimated Salary: $76,800 - $115,200 CAD per annum, this role is eligible for a discretionary variable compensation award that considers business and individual performance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the issue intake process supporting production Enterprise Capital Reporting as well as associated change management. They will leverage OSFI CAR and system knowledge to socialize planning for, and implementation/business validation of, process and rule changes. Additionally, they will coordinate testing of change components by upstream business segments and work effectively with various stakeholders to ensure coordination and consistent understanding of priorities and regulatory capital guidelines.

About the Department: The TBSM department is responsible for overseeing the management of TD's consolidated non-trading market risk, funding strategies and liquidity risk, capital position, and funds transfer pricing framework. ECM is responsible for managing the bank's capital adequacy and efficiency; coordinating regulatory advocacy; developing and reporting on the banks' internal capital adequacy assessment process; supporting the analysis of corporate development opportunities; and forecasting and analyzing TDBG's consolidated regulatory capital requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage OSFI CAR and system knowledge to manage the issue intake process supporting production Enterprise Capital Reporting.
  • Socialize the planning for, and implementation/business validation of, process and rule changes.
  • Coordinate testing of change components by upstream business segments.
  • Work effectively with various stakeholders (including Segment Finance, Chief Accounting Group, Risk Management, and other areas within Treasury) to ensure coordination and consistent understanding of priorities and regulatory capital guidelines.
  • Own SOX processes and controls.
  • Support the ongoing review of capital interpretations to ensure appropriate application of the rules and continued compliance.
  • Maintain a good understanding of both financial markets in general and the various products and strategies employed by the Bank.
  • Support governance and identification of risks related to regulatory capital reporting requirements.
  • Support regular and ad-hoc capital reporting and requirements from regulators and senior management.
