Job Title: Automotive Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team at Guy's Tire Sales Inc. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units, adjusting and repairing parts and components, and ensuring that all work is performed to manufacturer's specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust units to specifications
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Coach and instruct apprentices
  • Provide customer service
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • Tire, wheel and rim mechanic
  • Automotive Service Technician (Fuel and Electrical Systems) Trade Certification
  • Automotive Service Technician (Steering, Suspension and Brakes) Trade Certification
  • Motor Vehicle Repairer (Service Station Mechanic) Trade Certification
  • HVAC Certificate
  • Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Certificate
