About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Salty's Beach House. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and compliance.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing prompt and effective resolutions.
    • Prepare and submit reports on customer feedback and satisfaction.
  • Administrative and Financial Tasks
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that financial resources are allocated effectively.
    • Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry.
  • Work Environment and Conditions
