Job Summary

EMCO Corporation is seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of customer orders, receiving and storing inventory, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, including picking, packing, and shipping
  • Receive and store inventory, including counting and verifying shipments
  • Load and unload trucks, operate forklift and other material handling equipment
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including removing debris and reporting any safety issues
  • Assist teammates in servicing customers at the counter
  • Perform other tasks as requested by the Profit Centre Manager

Requirements

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; College and/or University degree an asset
  • A minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience
  • Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Able to develop comprehensive product knowledge
  • Ability to learn to safely operate a forklift and any other material handling equipment
  • Possess a high level of attention to detail and accurately process orders
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract
