Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Field Sales Professional to join our team as a Retail Territory Manager. This role will be responsible for driving sales growth and distribution in their assigned territory, working closely with key retail contacts to achieve above-target results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth and distribution in the territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail contacts, including store owners and managers.
- Negotiate incremental sales, including bookings, SPLAN, and allocation tables.
- Improve merchandising and use of promotional pieces in stores (POP).
- Execute and deliver retail coverage as per plan, ensuring efficient and effective call frequency and length while maintaining high ROI for the client.
- Accurately document call activity via call reporting tools.
- Manage effective allocation of funds and complete thorough budget documentation.
- Act as a category expert, providing timely and insightful retail feedback to our clients.
Requirements
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, daytime hours.
- Experience in territory management.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Organized, flexible, and able to work independently with limited supervision.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with MS Office, MS Teams, and call reporting tools.
- Daily access to Internet and email to complete administrative tasks, including tracking, submitting call reports, and checking email regularly for new product information and updates.
