IT Business Solutions Analyst

The City of Laval is seeking a talented IT Business Solutions Analyst to contribute to our dynamic and growing team.
In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the future of our city by leveraging technology to improve the well-being of our residents.
As an integral member of our organization, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective technological solutions.
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth functional analysis and detailed assessments of technology solutions to ensure they meet the specific requirements of our departments.
- Provide comprehensive support to users of diverse information systems, guiding them through established procedures and resolving any technical issues they may encounter.
- Bridge the gap between business objectives and technological implementations by aligning user needs with suitable technology solutions.
- Represent the Service in customer relations, fostering strong partnerships and actively participating in change management initiatives to ensure a smooth transition for all users.
Qualifications:
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Have a minimum of four years of proven experience in business analysis within a technology-driven environment.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite and its functionalities.
- Be proficient in modeling concepts such as BPMN to effectively visualize and communicate complex processes.
- Exhibit exceptional analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, fostering strong interpersonal relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
