Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Ortec Group. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of heavy vehicles, including trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy equipment, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with heavy equipment
  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed
  • Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Complete daily work reports and maintain accurate records

Requirements

  • DEP or equivalent in heavy equipment mechanics
  • Valid mechanical certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
